The puppies are already 7 weeks old now! The time is going by so quickly.
I think Pinkie and Bro's puppies are very nice puppies. They are friendly, loving, content, adorable, playful, cuddly, smart, and cute.
They are also very quiet. Very content to be wherever I put them. (Although Cousin has figured out how to get over the puppy wall.)
They will be getting their first vaccinations tomorrow. They will need 3 series of vaccinations by their 4th month. So at about their 10th week, then 13th or 14th, and then 16th or 17th week they should get their boosters. Sometime around 4 - 6 months they should get their rabies vaccination. Also, sometime after 4 -6 months they should be spayed or neutered.
Please schedule a vet check for soon after you bring your puppy home. Your vet needs to confirm that the puppy is healthy.
And starting around 8 weeks or so they can begin their heartworm preventative.
I am still feeding the puppies their turkey as well as their Honest Kitchen food. If you would like feed the
Honest Kitchen - Thrive. you should order or purchase some soon. If you decide not to feed Honest Kitchen, please look for a food without excessive proccessing or corn, wheat, or soy. You should soak the puppy's food in warm water or goat milk to make it easier for him to eat.
The puppies are very healthy. I had another fecal done a couple days ago, and the result was negative. No worms, no fleas. Their stools are not runny.
